Amelia Island ‘Festivals of Speed’ Raises $50,000 for CharityLast week the Festivals of Speed event returned to Amelia Island, Florida. During the event which showcases cars, boats, motorcycles and aircraft, a total of $50,000 wasi raised which will provide much needed funding to Communities In Schools providing for additional services to more Nassau County children and teens.

“The Festivals of Speed kicked off with a luxury lifestyle event attended by 400, and featured a live and silent auction to benefit our children,” explained Susan Milana, CIS executive director. An upgraded MGB was the highlight of our charity auction and went home with a very happy bidder.”

“We could not have been happier with the Festivals of Speed this year on Amelia Island, stated Joe Sabatini, Festivals of Speed President. “Attendance and car participants doubled from last year and we see further growth in 2015.”

fosFor anyone who loves exotic vehicles of the air, land and sea, the Festivals of Speed events are a must see. I perhaps no other event do so many classic and exotic modes of transportation come together.

The next event is scheduled for April 4-6, 2014 and will be held in St. Petersburg, FL. Tickets are also available for the “Luxury Lifestyle Jetport Reception” which kicks off the event on Friday, April 4th.
