Kurt Schaubach Named Chief Technology Officer for Federated WirelessOn Tuesday, Federated Wireless announced that, Kurt Schaubach join the company as the new of Chief Technology Officer. Schaubach comes to Federated from National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative where he served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.

Federated Wireless develops technologies to maximize the utilization of spectrum resources. the company feels that Schaubach, “will play a key role in developing technologies and new business strategies for Federated Wireless as the company works to create the next-generation architecture of broadband wireless.”

Schaubach was a strong choice for the company based on his 20+ years of experience in spectrum development, management and policy.

According to the press release issued today, in his earlier positions, Schaubach was responsible for technology strategy and product development in wholesale mobile wireless, rural broadband wireless access, satellite broadband, microwave backhaul, land mobile radio, and SCADA.
