Director Ridley Scott set a standard for science fiction films with the original ‘Alien’ film. While he did not take part in the sequels ‘Aliens’ and ‘Aliens 3’, Scott is back in the Prequel to Alien with ‘Prometheus’.
Sci-fi and Alien fans got their first peek at the Prometheus Trailer this week. The trailer video was a surprise to many as there had not been much talk about the new film, scheduled for a release date of June 8th, 2012.
As can be seen by watching Prometheus Trailer here, the film looks to be nothing short of another bar raising achievement by in the space science fiction genera. Charlize Theron stars in the film along with Michael Fassbender who plays an android character.

While Scott has kept a tight lid on the details of Prometheus, the basic plot is that a group of explorers find mysterious hieroglyphs that send them off to discover the origins of mankind What they uncover is a race of indigenous race of bio-mechanoid killers on the planet they were sent to explore.
