News site TMZ is reporting that actress Kristin Chenoweth has been released from the hospital and is doing well following an on-set injury se recently sustained. Reportedly, the actress sustained a head injury on the set of her current hit show, “The Good Wife.”
The show airs on CBS and apparently Chenoweth was injured on the set on Wednesday. Kristin Chenoweth was reportedly hit in the head by a piece of lighting equipment on the set and was taken to the hospital just after 5 PM.
The exact nature and severity of the injury was not reported or released, but was apparently serious enough to require a trip to the hospital. Many had sent emails and online posts wishing the actress a speedy recovery.
TMZ also reported that Chenoweth had released a statement through a representative thanking the public for their concern and support. The statement read in part, “Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes.”
No word on when Kristin will return to work on the set of “The Good Wife.” The CBS drama has been another success for the actress who also received strong reviews for her work on NBC’s “The West Wing.”
