Police are still sorting out the details of a shooting which has taken the life of Cali Swag District Rapper M-Bone. The performer was reportedly shot and killed in his hometown on Sunday night.
M-Bone, a 22 year-old rapper with the group the Cali Swag District, whose real name was Montae Talbert, was shot in the head in a drive by shooting according to police reports. The performer was in his car near the 400 block of North LaBrea Avenue when another vehicle pulled along side. Two shots from someone in the other car struck the rapper in the head.
Inglewood police are still investigating the shooting and have no leads listed at this time and the make of the car involved is unclear. Talbert was take to the hospital after the shooting but died later.
Fan’s will surely miss M-Bone who had his biggest hit “Teach Me How to Dougie” in 2010 with his group Cali Swag District’s.
