Cindy Anthony continued testimony as a witness for the defense yesterday as internet viewers continued to watch live streaming video of the Casey Anthony murder trial. After her bombshell on Thursday saying that is was she who searched for chloroform on the home computer, on Friday she said that the ladder to the family pool was in place when she came home from work on the day the Caylee is believed by the defense to have drowned.
Cindy admitted to prosecutors that there is no way that the 2 year old could have moved the ladder, which was always removed from the pool to keep Caylee safe. Next on the stand was Casey Anthony’s brother Lee Anthony.

Lee broke down in tears on the stand on Friday as he talked about how he had felt so excluded from the family during Casey’s pregnancy. In fact, Lee has felt so hurt by the exclusion that he did not come to the hospital when Caylee was born.
His testimony is part of the defense team’s strategy to show that the family was ashamed and tried to hide the fact that Casey was pregnant. Even after he confronted his mother, Cindy, about Casey looking pregnant, she denied it. It was not until just days prior to the birth of Caylee Anthony that the family said anything to Lee about the pregnancy.
The trial continues today as the defense continues to place reasonable doubt in the mind of the jurors in the case. The judge has rules that court will be held for a full day today, Saturday, in an effort to keep the trial moving along quickly.
