While the trial for George Zimmerman, for the murder of Trayvon Martin, is scheduled to begin on Monday, today viewers are watching live streaming video of the George Martin pre-trial hearing currently underway. Zimmerman is on trial for the murder of the 17 year-old Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman has been charged with second-degree murder for the shooting of Martin in Sanford Florida, near Orlando in 2012.
The George Zimmerman murder trial will begin on Monday, June 10th in Seminole County, Florida. Circuit Judge Debra Nelson is presiding over the case. Defense attorney Mark O’Mara will represent Zimmerman while the lead prosecutor for the state of Florida will be Bernie de la Rionda.
Zimmerman is claiming self-defense in the shooting.
