Nevada Middle School Shooting Suspect May have been bullied

Nevada Middle School Shooting Suspect May have been bulliedAccording to reports, including CNN, it appears that the student at the center of the Nevada Middle School shooting, may have been responding to being bullied.

The name of the student, who took his own life after the shooting, has not been released out of respect for his family. However, it has been reported that the math teacher shot and killed at the Nevada Middle School was Mike Landsberry.

In addition to being a respected math teacher at the school, Landsberry was also a Marine who served in several tours in Afghanistan.

Two 12 year-old students were also injured in the shooting. Those injured are believed to have been friends of the shooter. Both are currently listed in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

Some witnesses described the shooter as a ‘nice kid’ who was bullied. “He was really a nice kid,” schoolmate Amaya Newton said. “He would make you smile when you were having bad day.”
