In today’s 2013 Outback Bowl, LSU takes on Iowa in a New Year’s Day showdown between the SEC and the Big Ten conferences. While ESPN will provide full televised coverage, the network will also allow fans to watch the Outback Bowl live online for free via a video stream from ESPN’s Gamecast.

At 9-3 overall and 5-3 in the SEC conference, LSU comes into today’s game ranked 16th in the BCS. Unranked Iowa also has a 5-3 record in their conference – the Big Ten, and a record of 8-4 overall on the 2013 season.
Both teams had higher aspirations on the season, and could have easily done so. Unfortunately for both, after some key wins, they suffered some surprise upsets along the way.
Today’s Outback Bowl is scheduled for a 1:00 pm eastern kickoff. The game is being played in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay Florida – the home of the NFL’s Buccaneers.
