Alicia Silverstone Give Birth to Baby Boy – Bear Blu

Alicia Silverstone gave birth to a baby boy just in time for this 2011 Mother’s day. Silverstone, along with husband Christopher Jarecki named their son Bear Blu.

Silverstone gave birth to the 7 pound 15 ounze baby boy on thursday of last week at a birthing center near Los angeles.

On her blog Silverstone wrote, “We are all three in love, I’m so grateful to this community for all the love, support, good wishes and happy vibes you’ve sent me during my pregnancy … it has been wonderful. Thank you all!”

Coincidentially, the 34 year old actress recently played a expectant mother on broadway in “Time Stands Still.” Reportedly during interviews last year she had mentioned that she was eager to have a baby with her husband. The two were married in 2005.

In addition to her acting, Silverstone is something of an author. She recently released a book entitled, “The Kind Diet.” In the book, the vegan actress reaches out to audiences with a message about an alternative to animals as a food source.
