According to Graham’s pulmonologist, Dr. Shaw Henderson, he is doing well and diagnostic tests indicated that his heart was normal. “Appropriate antibiotics are being administered, and he is clinically stable at this time”, said Henderson. Graham’s primary physician, Dr. Lucian Rice, agreed with the reports that Graham is in good condition.
His expected release date from the hospital has not been announced, but Graham has been seeing visitors including friends and family and is in good spirits. Doctors say that he is responding well to treatment and should be home in a matter of days.
Graham’s ministry, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, is currently being run by his son Franklin, but even during his time in the hospital, the elder Graham has been keeping up to date with events in the ministry, and participating in Bible study and prayer each day.
