Charlie Weis Will Head Offense at Florida
Charlie Weis, the current offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs, will be assuming the same role with the Florida Gators next year. In addition to his time in the NFL with the Chiefs, Weis also spent time leading the offense of the New England Patriots as their offensive coordinator.
Weis is no stranger to the collegiate ranks however. Weis led Notre Dame, as coach, in two BCS games during his years there from 2005-2009. Weis will report to Will Muschamp who will be taking over as head coach for the Florida Gators as Urban Meyer steps down at the end of this season.
The Chiefs will still have Weis through the rest of what has been a good season for Kansas City.
