Electronic Consumer Transactions Gain Enhanced Cyber Security at Stage Stores

As a result of partnering with some of the leading companies in retail electronic transaction and cyber security, Stage Stores is gaining enhanced security for its customers. Stage is a leading neighborhood retailer providing brand-name family apparel in 40 states across the country under the names of Bealls, Goody’s, Palais Royal, Peebles and Stage

According to a press release, the company has partnered with Ingenico Group, to implement Chase Paymentech point-to-point encryption (P2PE) for its almost 900 locations in the United States.

For customers who shop at Bealls, Goody’s, Palais Royal, Peebles and Stage, this comes as good news.

Ingenico Group’s On-Guard technology was the first encryption technology to be included in a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certified P2PE solution, and the first in the U.S. to be certified as part of a complete solution with EMV.
