For Candace Cameron Bure staying in shape means eating a balanced diet and getting enough exercise and rest. Unfortunately for the former star of ABC’s “Full House”, this has not always been the case.
In a new book, the now 34 year old actress tells how she fought a battle with bulimia after the show came to an end in the mid 1990’s. The book, titled “Reshaping It All” should be out on shelves starting today.
Bure had played the role of D.J. Tanner on the ABC hit show. Once the show ended in 1995, she returned to focus on her family life. In Canada, with her husband and hockey player Valeri, Candace fell into a cycle of binging and purging after, what Bure referrs to as, losing a battle with her emotions. Regaining control over this part of her life was key to her recovery according to the actress.
