HBO Hit Entourage Kicks off Final Season 8 Tonight
But is it really the end? Rumors are already circulating about the potential for Entourage: The Movie. “I think the movie would be a great reprise,” said Adrian Grenier who plays the lead character of Vince on the show. “I’d bet my money on a movie … If we do it, it’s got to be big. And it will be. What’s great about the show is it lends itself to be very large in scope and cinematic.”
So far there are no firm plans for the film but it would be hard to overlook the financial opportunity of such a large fan base. I’m sure the producers of the “Sex in the City” films post HBO series would agree.
Season 7 of Entourage left off with Vince in a downward spiral of substance abuse. From the previews of the entire season, it appears to be safe to assume that his “boys” will get him back on track by the end of Season 8.
