Coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing and the pursuit of those responsible took center stage last week across media outlets. As things begin to return to normal this week, HLN and other news agencies are returning to the live video coverage of the daily drama which is the Jodi Arias murder trial. For months now, viewers have been able to watch the Jodi Arias trial online via live streaming, as well as complete television coverage.

Jodi Arias is currently on trial for the murder of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander. If found guilty, Arias could face the death penalty. Over the past months, the defense team has been trying to paint Alexander, the murder victim, as a sexual deviant and an abusive boyfriend. This all is an attempt by the defense to help support their position that Arias acted in self-defense when she admittedly killed Alexander.
The prosecution, meanwhile, has been working to poke holes in the self-defense argument. They are trying to show that the plea of self-defense does not fit the evidence which consists of 27 stab wounds to the back and a gun shot.
