Internet Provides Some Top Last Minute Halloween Costume Ideas

The Halloween weekend it here and you’re still Googling ‘Last Minute Halloween Costumes.” Well just be thankful that the internet and Google are here for you. How did we ever get along without them.

We have done some searching as well to help you out, and here are some of the most common ideas that we found for last minute ideas for a Halloween costume.

Over at Patch.com, they recently posted a top 5 easy costume ideas. Their number one suggestion, in keeping with a year of worldwide political protests, was to make a protest sign and wear some dirty clothes and go to you party as a protester – there are a number of ways to go with this one.

One that was particularly clever was the ‘Facebook Profile’ idea. Its simple enough to make at the last minute. According to Patch, just decorate a piece of white posterboard like your facebook profile page. Before you strap it on, cut out a hole for your face where your profile picture should be and wear it. Their suggestion to take it to the next level would be to use some clear laminate to make a place for people to post comments with some dry erase markers.

Feeling really lazy, just grab a shirt from any touristy place you have ever visited, like Disney World. Wear it with some jeans and drape a camera around your neck and your all set to be a tourist. Bonus points if you can strap on a fanny-pack.

Can’t find the right shirt to pull off the tourist look, hit a local thrift store or Goodwill. There are bound to be some in there. Another option, in keeping with the theme, is to find a nice Hawaiian shirt for the look, the louder the better.

Finally, here are some quick ideas we pulled from some internet blogs. These are some last minute Halloween costume ideas which use things you undoubtedly already have around the house. Some are a little cheesy, but you’re the one who waited until the last minute.

* Carry a quarter and a hammer. What are you? A Quarter-pounder.
* Dress in pink and carry a feather. What are you? Tickled pink.
* Dress all in black, tie a shot glass around your neck. What are you? A shot in the dark!
* Quarter (or preferably enlarged photocopy of one) taped to your back. What are you? A quarter-back.
