On tonight’s ESPN Monday Night Football, the 2-2 New York Jets face-off against the 1-3 Atlanta Falcons. In addition to the television coverage on ESPN, internet viewers can watch the MNF game online via live streaming video.
Both teams will be trying to improve their NFL 2013 season records as, like many high profile teams this year, each is performing well below expectations. The game will kick-off Monday night with television coverage beginning at 8:30PM eastern in Atlanta, while simultaneous streaming online video give access to viewers on the go.
The Jets have yet to win a game on the road this season. “Obviously, we’re not where we want to be,” said Jet’s head coach Rex Ryan while speaking with ESPN. “We’ve got to claw ourselves back to where we want to be. It’s a long haul. There’s still a long way to go.”
Meanwhile, the Falcons won as many as lost at home with a record in the Georgia Dome of 1-1 this season. According to ESPN, the team’s struggles are due in large part to its inability to convert in the red zone. The team is ranked 29th in the league in red-zone production at 38.9 percent.
