Yet another week of live coverage begins as the the Jodi Arias trial goes on. Internet viewers watch the trial which has lasted for weeks now, with Arias herself on the witness stand for over 3 weeks. While many in the field expect the case to wrap up soon, nothing is certain in a trial which has seen many twists and turns.
Jodi Arias is facing murder charges related to the death of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in 2008. Most recently, the prosecution has focused on the illustrations of the multiple stab wounds on the body of Alexander, making it appear less likely that Jodi Arias acted in self defense as she is claiming.
While Arias has admitted to killing Alexander, she has taken the witness stand in her defense saying that she did so out of fear for her own life. Arias’ story however has come under a lot of scrutiny as her story has been very inconsistent over time.
If found guilty, Jodi Arias could face the death penalty.
