If the Mom on your list for Mother’s Day this year is like most women, they may appreciate a very simple gift which is available at a KFC restaurant near you. Few gifts reach a woman’s soft spot like some free chocolate cake.
As part of a promotion, participating KFC locations are giving away free Mother’s Day gifts in the form of free double chocolate chip bunt cake. While the cake is actually free any time you purchase a 10-piece KFC meal (or larger), the restaurant chain is promoting the value of it for this Mother’s Day.
From the company web site KFC writes, “Whether her favorite is Original Recipe, Extra Crispy or Kentucky Grilled Chicken, KFC has the world-famous taste that Mom knows and loves. Add in KFC’s home-style side items and buttermilk biscuits and you’ve got a meal any mother would be proud to share with the family.”
If a more formal dinner out was not in the plans for this Mother’s Day, KFC points out that dine-in or take-out, a KFC meal with free desert will still help Mom to avoid cooking a meal, and the chocolate chips in the chocolate cake should really hit the spot for dessert.
“Every day, Mom does the little things that keep the family happy – from finding the remote control to not embarrassing the kids by hugging them in front of their friends. Show her how much you appreciate her with a KFC meal and a free Double Chocolate Chip Cake. (A gift wouldn’t hurt either.)”
