The spacecraft, which successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS) and set a precedent for commercial space travel, is scheduled for re-entry and a splashdown on May 31. As the entire mission has been, the return to earth and splashdown of the SpaceX Dragon will be broadcast live from NASA TV and can be watched over the Internet.

The live streaming video of the SpaceX mission will commence on Thursday, May 31, beginning with live coverage of the departure of the Dragon spacecraft at 2:30 a.m. CDT (3:30 a.m. EDT). Release of Dragon from the ISS should take place at 5:10 a.m. CDT (6:10 a.m. EDT). Just over 4 hours later, at 9:15 a.m. CDT (10:15 a.m. EDT) the mission coverage video will pick back up with coverage of the de-orbit burn and the eventual splashdown.
Because the final splashdown of the Dragon spacecraft is expected to take place in the Pacific Ocean, at 10:44 a.m. CDT (11:44 a.m. EDT) several hundreds of miles off the west coast of California, it may be out of range of live television.
