For those traveling tonight, or away from television, we have the answer to how to watch the World Series Game 6 online via streaming video streams over the internet – or listen to the game on the radio.
Due to a mechanical failure with a chartered Delta Airlines flight from St. Louis yesterday, the Cardinals nearly had to watch the World Series, without them, from their mobile devices and laptops while onboard a broken airplane.
With the live broadcast of tonight’s game on Fox, online viewers will be able to watch online video of Game 6 through a few options. Additionally, ESPN radio will allow fans to listen to the World Series on the radio if the internet is not an option.
Among the ways to watch the World Series online are live and recorded video replays from Fox Sports online. Also MLB.com, the home of Major League Baseball on the internet, offers number of packages to watch the games online.
USTREAM.com, as shown here is a top internet resource live online video of events, and has a special section dedicated to live video feeds related to the 2013 World Series.
After about 7 hours sitting on their airplane, a new aircraft was flown in and eventually got the team to Boston last night around 11PM. Reports from team officials indicated that the team, and their families onboard, handled the delay well and entertained themselves with movies, and other electronic devices.
The team reportedly was not planning to practice on Tuesday, so other than some spoiled dinner plans, the Cardinals organization indicated that the delay should not impact tonight’s game 6 performance.
Down 3-2 in the series, tonight is “do or die” for the Cardinals. Meanwhile the Boston Red Sox have the opportunity to win game 6 and the World Series in front of their home crowd in Fenway Park.
