With a pool of 40 potential jurors now selected, the second week of live video coverage of the George Zimmerman continues. Viewers are tuning in to watch via HLN television and live online video sources. For the next several weeks the live trial will continue to be broadcast from the Sanford, FL courtroom.

Once a minimum of 40 potential jurors were screened, both sides agreed to move forward with the final steps of jury selection. Now in its 8th day of proceedings, with the entire world watching through live online video streaming and on television coverage from HLN, the jury selection process is in its final stages.
Ultimately, the jury will be comprised of 6 people plus 4 alternates. IT has been announced that the jury will be sequestered in a hotel throughout the trial, expected to last for several weeks.
The Zimmerman trial a high profile case resulting from the highly publicized shooting by Zimmerman of teenager Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman is claiming self-defense in the shooting.
