NASA Video Debunks Mayan Calendar “End of the World” Prophecy

According to many interpretations of the Mayan Calenday, today, December 21st is predicted as the End of the World. But experts in the scientific community say that the Mayan Calendar End of the World Predictions are being misinterpreted.

In an earlier article, we explained the findings of scientists who have analyzed the Mayan Calendar and explained what the Mayans meant, and how it was not an End of the World 2012 prediction. Now NASA scientists have chimed in with a video also aimed at debunking the myth surrounding the 2012 Mayan Calendar Doomsday prophecy.

According to a NASA video, David Morrison, a senior scientist and astrobiologist at NASA’s Ames Research Center is working to inform the public that each of the claims are false and there is no reason that December 21, 2012 will be different from any other day on Earth.

Watch the video here in which NASA scientist David Morrison explains why the 2012 Mayan Calendar End of the World Doomsday Predictions are not accurate.
