Natalie Portman Pregnant and Engaged
In something of a surprise announcement from her publicist, Natalie Portman, star of the ballet drama “Black Swan,” announced that she and the film’s choreographer, Benjamin Millepied, age 33, have gotten engaged and are expecting a baby.
There had been rumors about the couple since they were first reported together, about a year ago, by the New York Daily News, but not much else was certain. The announcement was not expected.
This will be the first marriage for the 29 year old actress who first impressed critics at a young age, in her role as Matilda, in the film “The Professional”. Since then Portman has been nominated for both SAG and Golden Globe awards. This year there is even some Oscar buzz surrounding the star for her work in “Black Swan”.
