In an announcement which will likely be welcomed by its users, video streaming service provider Netflix said that it will now give users the ability to create up to 5 separate profiles for each account.
Previously, users of the $8 per month online video streaming service often had trouble separating films and videos in their que between those appropriate for children and those for adults.
By allowing a single account to have up to 5 profiles, each person in a household on the shared account can set up their own que of favorites, and only see their own viewing history.
In a USA Today report, the chief product officer for Netflix, Neil Hunt, said that the company was confident that this change was going to be a win for the company which currently service millions of customers.
