President Obama Meets with Top Tech Executives
Earlier today, President Barack Obama met with several of the country’s top executives from major internet and other technology companies. The meeting took place in northern California at a private estate. The estate is home to venture capitalist John Doerr.
Among those in attendance were Google’s Eric Schmidt, Oracle founder and CEO Larry Ellison, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and Steve Jobs, who is currently on medical leave from Apple while he continues his battle with cancer.
The President will be on the West Coast on Friday as well while he continues to meet with technology business leaders. Obama is looking to the executives for their input on ways drive innovation and eventually boost jobs in the U.S.
