In their Thursday night win over the Carolina Panthers, the Pittsburgh Steelers are just one game away from winning the AFC North division as well as earning a bye in the first round of the playoffs. The Steelers will have to beat the 5-9 Cleveland Browns on Janurary 2nd to make this happen.
The Steelers won handsomly over Carolina by a score of 27-3, but while a win over Cleveland appears fairly certain, the Browns have proved to be a team not to be taken lightly. Included in their 5 wins so far this season were some upsets including a win over the New England Patriots who have since dominated teams throughout the league.
With the title and the bye week on the line, Pittsburgh should be very motivated to secure a win against the Browns, and will likely rely on the deep passing expertise of their quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, which was key to their victory over the Panthers.
