In dramatic fashion Tim Tebow led the Denver Broncos to another nail biting win in Sunday’s game versus the San Diego Chargers. It was a close game throughout, including the overtime battles. In the end it was a 16-13 win for the now 6-5 Broncos.
Denver has been down 10-0 early in the game but Tebow did a great job combining scrambling, optioning and passing. On the day, Tebow himself had 22 carries for a total of 67 yards. In the overtime, Denver had the ball first but had to punt. San Diego moved the ball to just short of the 35 yard line, but missed the Field Goal attempt.
On their next possession, Denver had a huge run from mid-field setting up a game winning 24-yard field goal.
For the Eagles, coming of a big win over the Giants last week, the Patriots proved too much. While the game appeared to be a good battle after the first few series for each team, once Tom Brady and his Patriots built up some momentum, they ran all over the Eagles. Final score was 38-20 New England Patriots over the Philadelphia Eagles.
