As part of an inspirational interactive campaign dubbed, “Where Do You Celestron®?”, respected telescope and optics manufacturer Celestron is inviting its customers to share their stories about using Celestron telescopes, sport optics, and microscopes.
In this year-long campaign, Celestron aims to bring their multiple industry-leading products to life through the vibrant personalities of the creators and users behind the optics. The company announced the launch of the campaign recently at the 2013 Northeastern Astronomy Forum (NEAF) held at the Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York.
“With print ads, videos, social media, and a constantly updated website, Where Do You Celestron is truly an all-encompassing experience designed to excite and inspire,” said Dave Anderson, President and COO of Celestron. “We can’t wait to read all of your submissions detailing how a Celestron telescope, sport optic, or microscope has enriched your life.”
To participate and share your videos, images and stories, or to see those from others, you can go online to WhereDoYouCelestron.com. On the web site the company has set up an interactive map which they hope will, over the year, become filled with stories from around the world.
Visitors to the web site are encouraged to fill it with everything from stories and images of stargazing or nature watching to exploration of the microscopic. Content shared from consumers will become the basis for not only the map, but also featured blog entries, Facebook posts, upcoming advertisements, and a future contest.
