One of the latest animated features to win at the box office is a Dr Seuss story called The Lorax. Reviews of the Lorax film have been very positive and with a number of available show times in Theaters, the film is raking in cash in ticket sales.
Taylor Swift’s new movie, Dr Seuss’ The Lorax, has cleaned up at the US box office.
Among the celebrity stars providing the voices for the characters in this film are Taylor Swift, Danny DeVito and Zac Efron.
The Lorax is a 3D animation film which is based on a Dr. Seuss cautionary tale about a world in which trees are something of a rarity. The film lends itself to teaching children about the importance of conservation, being ‘green’ or eco friendly, and protecting the and preserving the environment.
So far The Lorax has earned a reported $70.7 million during its first weekend in movie theaters. Produced by Illumination Entertainment, who also brought Despicable Me to the big screen, the film is led by producer Christopher Meledandri, and director Chris Renaud.
The Lorax movie reviews have been very positive, lending to the success of the film, and with spring break approaching for younger children, searches for The Lorax show times in theaters will soon top the charts, and bring in even more revenue for the film.
