Undoubtedly a course where Woods feels at home, this win was the 7th for Tiger at Bay Hill. The win is number 72 for Tiger Woods and may be just the boost his confidence needs going into the 2012 Masters at Augusta.
For CBS the win should be a ratings boost for the Masters as Tiger will likely be ranked in contention for a possible win along side other favorites like Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy.
While his game was not perfect on Sunday, it was a solid performance for Tiger Woods. Finishing with a final round score of 70, the day included two bogies, but more importantly also included four birdies to keep Tiger in front.
The win for Woods also put to rest many of the concerns about Tiger’s health which has been at the forefront of many in the healthcare field lately. Just two weeks earlier, Tiger withdrew from the final round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral citing issues with his Achilles tendon.
