Earlier this week it was reported that Toys R Us and Radio Shack leaked their 2013 Black Friday ad to several online sources in order to generate some interest from deal hungry consumers.
Walmart is running a number of online and in-store promotions all month long, as shown in their ‘November Holiday Promotion Calendar,’ leading up to their Black Friday sales. Walmart also is allowing consumers to sign up for “Early Access so they can be among the first to hear about our holiday savings events and much more!”
In addition to great deals already underway for online Walmart shoppers, in departments this week such as Electronics, Home and Personalized Gifts, the company reports that “shoppers will receive FREE Site to Store pickup on all eligible items and FREE Shipping on all orders over $50!”
The 2013 Black Friday Ad for Best Buy is reported to have also been released. Well known as a top source for consumer electronics, Best Buy historically has some of the best Black Friday sales events and promotional discounts on electronics.
As with some other retailers, consumers are typically lined up outside of Best Buy, waiting to be the first to get inside the store on Black Friday, hoping to take advantage of the deals on computer, tablets, televisions and more.
