Since 2003, the Cooke family, founders of online greeting cards company Doozycards.com has been crafting a wide range of animated free ecards for virtually every major holiday. For Father’s Day 2012, that commitment has not changed and the company has just released a “fresh batch” of animated free ecards perfect for Fathers Day.
The company’s original goal was to help their customers stay connected with friends and family in an uplifting, fun, and creative way. Providing the world’s best free and online animated ecards was how they delivered. “Whether it’s through laughter or tears, when you send someone an ecard, you are showing them you care,” says president Chandler Cooke Chandler.
Acording to the Los Angeles based company, “the newly created cards for Father’s Day feature a variety of Dad-oriented characters, humor, and music originally composed for the occasion by Doozy’s resident staff of writers.”
Some examples of the ecards available for dad this year are one in which a singing steak croons, country western style, on a barbeque grill. In another, singing and dancing nachos are animated alongside singing glasses of beer.
Each of the new Father’s Day ecards is scored by music wholly or in large part created exclusively for the card. Mukti Garceau, the resident composer and lyricist, wrote each of the musical ecards’ lyrics. She says, “My intention in composing the Father’s day songs was to bring in and mix both fun & laughter with appreciation for Dad on the day that honors Fathers.”
