Update Provided on Status of Bobbi Kristina Brown

Since her hospitalization at Emory University Hospital over the weekend, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family has reportedly remained by her side hoping and praying for a recovery. This comes after Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston was found unconscious in the bathtub of her suburban Atlanta townhome.

There has been much speculation over the condition Bobbi Kristina and today her father shed some light on his daughter’s condition and addressed some of the earlier reports.



On Wednesday Fox News reported her condition saying, “It’s now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she’s pretty much not going to make it.”


On the same day People magazine reported that the family was told by a doctor that there was nothing more they could do for her.

Today, Bobby Brown issued a statement saying that these reports were false. In his statement Brown said, “If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that’s all we would be doing 24 hours a day. This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place.”

Brown went on to clarify Bobbi Kristina’s condition saying that his daughter is “not brain dead” as some reports had indicated.
