On the same day that the aircraft landed by Capt. Chesley Sullenberger, in what is referred to as the “Miracle on the Hudson”, was moved into a museum, the computer system of his airline, US Airways, suffered a major outage.

Earlier today, US Airways reported numerous flight cancellations due to a computer system outage. As of about 9:30 PM eastern tonight however the systems were reported to be coming back online.

The aircraft has been in transit on the back of a flatbed truck trailer all the way from New Jersey. It made the last part of its journey today.
