Now moving into the lucrative fast-food breakfast arena, Taco Bell is using a very creative marketing strategy to draw attention to their new morning menu options.
Through a series of commercials, and viral youtube videos (like the one below), Taco Bell has gathered a group of men with the actual name Ronald McDonald to endorse the new breakfast foods.

The joke obviously is to say that Ronald McDonald, the well-known mascot for McDonald’s fast-food franchise, likes the Taco Bell breakfast.
Taco Bell’s breakfast menu went on sale nationwide at 7 a.m. Thursday (3/27/14) morning and is available until 11am daily.
So what’s in the Taco Bell breakfast menu?
Among the items featured in the new breakfast menu are: the A.M. Crunchwrap (eggs, hash browns, cheese, and bacon or sausage wrapped in a flour tortilla); Cinnabon Delights (Bite-sized cinnamon buns), a variety of breakfast burritos, a Sausage Flatbread Melt, hash browns, and something known as the Waffle Taco.
This creative ad campaign was reportedly created by Interpublic’s Deutsch Los Angeles ad agency, and is part of Taco Bell’s plan to try and take some of the revenue from a growing fast-food breakfast market – which includes from competitors like McDonald’s who currently own about 30 percent of the market.
Taco Bell president reportedly said the this marketing push for the breakfast campaign would be among the chain’s biggest marketing efforts ever.
