With jury selection complete, the second day of the George Zimmerman trial is now underway, playing out live for online and television viewers. Yesterday, opening statements were delivered by both sides to the jury. Viewers now watch the Zimmerman trial live thanks to online streaming video feeds, as well as live television coverage from many local florid news stations and nation media like HLN.
Just moments ago the jury entered the courtroom for the day. This was after court opened this morning, reviewing numerous 911 calls which Zimmerman had made as the neighborhood watch captain, prior to the night of the shooting.

This review of 911 calls this morning was a process of the court deciding whether to allow these calls to be played for the jury today. The calls appear to show a regular pattern of Zimmerman following instructions from 911 dispatchers. The defense is trying to show that, on the night of the Trayvon Martin shooting, Zimmerman appears to break from his usual pattern.
This morning on the witness stand, for online viewers to watch, have been several members of the Sanford FL police department who are relative to the 911 program, and a liaison to the community for neighborhood watch programs.
Zimmerman is standing trial in a Sanford, FL courtroom for the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman is claiming self-defense in the shooting which took place in the same town last year.
