Both the prosecution and the defense gave their closing arguments in court on Thursday, and now the fate of Dr. Murray rests in the hands of the jury.
Murray, who declined to take the stand in his own defense on Tuesday, has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. The defense has argued that Jackson delivered the fatal dose of the drug propofol to himself.
In court earlier this week, Murray told the judge, “My decision is that I will not testify in this matter.”
If convicted, Murray could face several years in prison for the crime.
