As the world watched via live online video, Secretary of State John Kerry and Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel addressed members of Congress at the Senate Foreign Relations hearing on Syria.
A live video feed of the Syria Hearings today can be watched below in this page. Members of congress are asking questions of Kerry and Hagel as they prepare to make a decision on whether to support the Presidents proposed missile strikes on Syria.

CNN reported that President Barack Obama believes the U.S. military plan is appropriate, proportional, limited, and “does not involve boots on the ground.” The president continued saying that, “This is not Iraq, and this is not Afghanistan.”
The biggest question among those in congress during the hearings appears to be surrounding assurances that there will not be “boots on the ground” in the form of U.S. military troops getting caught up in the Syrian civil war.
