With Mother’s Day on Sunday and all attention focused on Mom, NASCAR holds its big race for the week today, under the lights from the Kansas Speedway. As they have with other races, Fox sport will also let fans watch the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series 5-Hour Energy 400 Kansas online via a free live video stream.
The ability to get the free online video stream of NASCAR racing comes as part of the FOX Sports Go app and web site. Wanting to please their viewers and capture as wide an audience as possible, FOX is giving their viewers multiple ways to watch sports and events, like NASCAR, online with streaming video for computers and mobile devices.

While computer users can watch directly on the web site, mobile NASCAR fans can download the free Fox Sports Go app, compatible with most smart phones, tablets and mobile devices, to watch today’s Sprint Cup race.
Today’s race is scheduled for a start at 7:30pm, with pre-race coverage starting earlier, both on FOX television and online. The 400.5 mile race will consist of 267 laps and will help to benefit the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
Kevin Harvick, racing today in the #4 Jimmy John’s Chevrolet has won the pole position for the start in Kansas. Harvick ran 27.779 fastest lap in qualifying with a speed of 194.252 on Friday.
Joey Logan with start second in the #22 AAA Insurance Ford, followed by Brad Keselowski, and Carl Edwards, in their #2 and #9 Fords respectively.
The remaining top 10 starters feature: Kyle Larson, Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman, Tony Stewart, Danica Patrick, and Greg Biffle.
