It’s back to the desert again today for NASCAR fans as the Sprint Cup Series continues with today’s Kobalt 400 from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In addition to its television broadcast of the race at 3PM today, FOX sports is also making it possible for NASCAR fans to watch the Kobalt 400 online via free live video stream and replay video after the race.
FOX sports is providing a live online video streaming of NASCAR this season which is giving fans unprecedented inside access to race activities, as well as letting viewers watch online – all by using the “FOX Sports Go” web portal or downloading the app.

By taking advantage of the app download or the Fox Sports web site, Fox Sports Go lets NASCAR watch Sprint Cup and other races from almost anywhere using their computer, tablet, smart phone or mobile device.
It is free to download app or use the Fox Sports Go web portal. Once you are there, it is as easy to watch the race online, as just signing in with their access information for their current cable/satellite provider.
After the practice and qualifying runs over the last few days, Blake Koch, Landon Cassill, Dave Blaney, Joe Nemechek, and J.J. Yeley failed to qualify for today’s race. Matt Kenseth, with Joe Gibbs Racing in the No. 20 Toyota will race today as the defending champion from last year. Kenseth will start in the 29th position.
The pole position was earned by Joey Logano racing in today’s Kobalt 400 in the #22 Ford sponsored by Shell Pennzoil. Logano turned in a qualifying time of 27.939sec with a speed of 193.278mph.
Rounding out the top 5 in today’s start are: Brad Keselowski, Clint Bowyer, Austin Dillon, and Jimmie Johnson.
The Kobalt 400 is scheduled to begin with Fox broadcast coverage at 3:00pm eastern.
