Currently out of medal position, both Ashley Wagner and Gracie Gold of team USA hope to score high enough in tonight’s figure skating to get onto the podium. But it will take great scores from the Americans, and perhaps a little faltering from the current leaders to make that happen.
Here’s how to watch the Women’s Olympic Figure Skating online Live and Replay video
NBC’s Olympic coverage includes the use of its sister networks, its dedicated winter Olympics web site, and downloadable apps for mobile devices.
Among the options for television coverage are NBCSN, MSNBC, CNBC and the USA network in addition to NBC itself. The women’s Free Skate competition is airing live right now on NBCSN (sports network) and online.
An uncharacteristic fall during her short program last night dropped 15 year-old Russian favorite Yulia Lipnitskaya into 5th place. Meanwhile her teammate Adelina Sotnikova was able to move into 2nd with her performance.
Italy’s Carolina Kostner is in third after last night, with America’s Gracie gold not far behind in 4th. Ashley Wagner’s 65.21 score put her into 6th place behind Lipnitskaya.
With the top 3 nearly 6 points ahead of Gracie Gold, and 9 ahead of Wagner, the Americans will need to skate flawlessly and hope for others to underperform if they hope to see a medal tonight.
For viewers who have missed any of the live Olympic coverage, they can also watch Olympic replay video using the NBC apps and online video streams.
