Last night HBO saw its highest ratings for a show since the 2007 finale of its hit show ‘Sopranos.’ The massive draw was for viewers tuning in to watch the premier episode of the ‘Game of Thrones’ season 4.
But perhaps the biggest indication of the show’s popularity was the fact that the millions of fans trying to watch a replay of the Game of Thrones season 4 premier actually crashed the HBO GO servers.
Through HBO GO subscribers can go online for free to stream video of movies and full shows, including Game of Thrones, online to their computers and mobile devices.
The HBO GO is a free app download compatible with both android and iOS operating systems for tablets and mobile smart phone devices.
An estimated 6.6 million viewers tuned in Sunday night to watch the premier – the second highest ever for the network behind the 11.9 for the Sopranos finale.
According to all indications, the service is back online and operating fine. So if you missed the premier last night, you can watch Game of Thrones replay now on HBO GO.
