In Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, it appears that no one matched all of the winning numbers including the powerball number. With the jackpot at an estimated $320 million in the Powerball Lottery, that number is now expected to grow much larger by the next drawing.
For those with high hopes of winning what could become one of the largest Powerball drawings, Saturday night will be their next opportunity to test their luck. So far the largest Powerball jackpot was won this past November when two winners split a jackpot of $587 million.
While this Saturday’s Powerball drawing will probably not beat that record, if no one picks the winning powerball numbers correctly, the next drawing’s jackpot could approach that size.
According to officials, there has not been a Powerball winner, matching all numbers plus the powerball, since the beginning of February. For those interested in playing, the Powerball lottery is played in a number of states across the U.S. and a single ticket will cost you $2.00.
