A number of videos posted to Youtube from a number of media outlets are airing video and reporting on the crash landing today of a Boeing 777 aircraft while landing at the airport in San Francisco. The commercial airliner is reported to be an Asiana Airlines flight.
Reports are still coming in, but so far at least 2 people are reported to have died in the crash, while an estimated 130 are reported injured. Remarkably, many of the 291 people on board the 777 reportedly walked away from the crash.
Other reports from the SFO fire department indicate that 48 passengers were taken to area hospitals. Another 190 were taken to a safety zone at San Francisco International Airport. Estimates were that an additional 82 of the 190 would also be taken in for treatment.
There were several eye-witnesses to the, and their stories were captured on video by many of the main stream news reports. Additionally, those same videos are now appearing online at youtube and other internet video sites.
A final cause for the crash is still under investigation.
