It has been a fast rise to stardom for actress Jennifer Lawrence, star of blockbuster film “The Hunger Games” and its upcoming sequel which is scheduled to begin production in the Fall. Reports now indicate that Lawrence is likely to star in an upcoming film, based on the memoir of gossip columnist Jeannette Walls called ‘The Glass Castle.’

According to reports from the NY Daily News and Deadline.com, 21 year old Jennifer Lawrence is in talks to take the lead role in “The Glass Castle.” Lionsgate, which also produced the “Hunger Games”, purchase the film rights to “Glass Castle” back in 2005. According to reports, Gil Netter, who produced “The Blind Side” will fill the same role for the film.

Her last film, Hunger Games spent over a month in the number one position at the box office only dropping to number three just days ago. Lawrence will begin filming the sequel, “Catching Fire”, also based on the book series this September.

As if she is not busy enough, when the next installment of the “X-Men” film series begins production, shortly after “Catching Fire”, Lawrence will get to work on that set as well.

When she spoke with reporters from The News last month, just prior to the debut of her hit film, Jennifer Lawrence said, “I’m going to do something with air conditioning next.”
