This weekend will feature the pinnacle tournament for professional golfers and their fans. Thursday will begin the first round of the 2011 Masters golf tournament. This year golf fans won’t have to wait for television networks to get their Masters golf fix.

As always, the annual event will be played at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, GA. While Thursday is the first day of play, practice rounds started on Monday and will continue today and tomorrow. Wednesday will also feature a Par3 contest, which will be aired live on ESPN beginning at 3PM EST.

In addition to the broadcast coverage of the tournament, Live Streaming video via the internet is also being broadcast. Live streaming on the internet of practice rounds and interviews is already being broadcast.
The final round on Sunday will be streamed live starting at 11AM EST, while broadcast television viewers will have to wait until 2PM EST to see the tournament on CBS.
