AT&T U-verse TV Service in Houston hits 300,000 SubscribersAT&T U-verse TV service currently ranks highest in customer satisfaction according to a J.D. Power and Associates Study. Now, AT&T, has another milestone to celebrate as their subscriber base for the AT&T U-verse TV service in Houston surpassed the 300,000 mark.

“Reaching this milestone shows we’re providing customers with a better choice and experience than cable,” said Chris Penrose, vice president and general manager, AT&T South Texas. “More people than ever are making the switch to U-Verse as we provide regular upgrades and new, cool applications that enhance your TV experience.”

AT&T U-verse services take advantage of AT&T’s advanced Internet Protocol (IP) network, and use this a a means to deliver customers an alternative to cable. The U-verse servces provides users with a better TV experience, according to AT&T, which includes a better DVR, features and apps.

In a tough economy, the AT&T U-verse service has the advantage of allowing customers to manage and pay a single bill for combined services including television, broadband internet, home phone and AT&T wireless services.

According to a statement from the company, this year makes the fourth consecutive year in which AT&T U-verse TV services has ranked “Highest in Residential Television Service Satisfaction in the South” in a J.D. Power and Associates 2011 Residential Television Service Provider Satisfaction Study(SM).
