Best Buy Black Friday 2011Sale Starts at 12AM Friday
Always one of the biggest shopping days of the holiday season, Black Friday is well know for often unbelievable discounts on a variety of consumer products as merchants try to entice shoppers to get a head start on their Christmas and other holiday gift shopping. Best Buy begins this year’s Black Friday sale at midnight on thanksgiving.
Sharp HDTV Promotion
Discount consumer electronics super-store Best Buy recently made headlines for a Black Friday promotion featuring a 42” Sharp LCD 1080p HDTV for $199 the day after Thanksgiving this year. Stores are expected to have at least 50 sets available to shoppers who arrive early.
While the details on the Sharp web site indicate that the promotional HDTV is a full 1080p hi-definition set, the refresh rate information, an important part of what makes for a good non-blurry picture, is not available. Buyers should check this specification on the box in the store prior to purchase.
Video Game System Deals
Best Buy’s Black Friday promotion also offers a bundle deal , for under $200, on the Playstation 3 video game console which includes the Playstation 3 gaming unit with 160GB console with built in Blu-Ray player bundled with video games Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One and Little Big Planet 2, plus well as a PlayStation Plus 30-day Membership. The PS3 bundle is a savings of about $170 off the system.
Tablet Computer Discount
The ASUS Transformer tablet will be part of the door buster deals at Best Buy Friday with a sale price of only $249.99. The touch-screen table computer is a very popular model featuring a 10.1 inch screen.
Free Smart Phone
Shoppers looking for a new smart phone, will be pleased to know that the Best Buy deals will include a free smart phone offer. Shoppers can get a Free HTC Thunderbolt 4G LTE smart phone after black Friday store savings and a two year contract with Verizon.
